I recently came across an interesting video published three years ago. It talks about potential health risks resulting from the consumption of genetically modified (GMO) foods. Common health problems that might be associated with GMO foods are:

• Infertility
• Allergies
• Certain Cancers
• Nutritional Problems
• Possible Behavioral Problems

Small kids are especially vulnerable to environmental toxins. More and more scientists speculate that GMO foods might be associated with health problems in young kids later in their lives, maybe even predisposing them to certain types of cancers.

What do I take away from this? Support your local farmers and eat locally grow, healthy, and nutritious foods.
