What to expect at your first acupuncture visit:

We want your first visit to be a truly refreshing and healing experience. We recommend to reserve about 90 minutes. After a comprehensive history and examination we will explain your diagnosis, treatment plan, and expected outcomes to you. You will be given an acupuncture treatment and additional manual therapies if needed. Herbal medicines or supplements may be prescribed for you. Outside referrals, lab work, or special studies may be arranged at this or a later time. If needed, you will be scheduled for a follow-up appointment. These appointments take approximately 50 minutes. Your progress will be recorded and monitored on each visit.

Insurance/Fees:

We accept most major insurances for acupuncture. For your convenience our billing service will be able to verify your eligibility for acupuncture benefits. Call (415) 434-1530 or contact your insurance carrier directly. We accept third party payments. Worker’s Comp and Personal Injury are also accepted.
